A bucks party is a party held for the Buck (groom) usually the bachelor is given a party before his wedding, usually to give him a last chance to do things he knows his fiancé wouldn’t be happy about, or more likely, to hang out with his buddies (who themselves are often members of the wedding party.)

This party is like none other. It usually goes over the top and includes things not seen at the usual party or social gathering (often there is too much alcohol and, today, lots of gambling.)
