If you are the best man, you get the fun job of organizing the stag party. This party isn’t the usual boys night out. Make a plan that includes where it will take place, what you will do, who to invite, and other things. The stag party should be memorable and unlike any other boys’ night out.

First, decide where it is to be held.
*It’s important to think carefully about where the party is held. This can either make or break the party. There are several places to pick from and there are several options available, including the groom’s favorite hangout, moving from place to place during the night, or going away for the weekend. Maybe you can hold the party at someone’s home.
What type of party will you have?
*This night is all about the groom so make sure he will enjoy all the activities.
*First you need to decide if the party will be simple and close to home or a real vacation overseas.
Plan ahead.
*Make sure there is enough time to do all the things you have planned.
*If the invitations are sent out well in advance of the party, it gives the guest enough time to rearrange their schedule so they can attend. It is a fantastic way to get everyone excited.
*Traditionally the best man organizes the stag party, but he may need help, or won’t be able to attend himself. It’s important to decide whether he will, and if so, who’s in charge of what. *But if the party includes a trip, schedule it at least a week before the wedding date.
Who will the guests be?
*If you’re in charge of inviting people, which is likely, you need to keep a few things in mind. The invitations need not be formal, an email or phone call is sufficient.
*Will all the guests get along? Do all the guests drink? Will any of the guests think that they were left out? Will everyone enjoy the activities or will someone be offended? Is everyone okay with the cost? When organizing the list of guests, keep all of these points in mind.
*It may not always be wise to invite the fathers so you will have to decide if you will. Even the bride’s father is included! Invite them and let them decide.
How will the Stag Party bills be paid for?
*Usually you can just split the bill. This is the stag’s night so ask the other guys to pitch in to cover the groom’s expenses.
*Another way to do this is to take up a collection after the guests have paid their own tab.
*You don’t want anyone to go away angry or sour so make sure you have outlined in advance exactly what each guest is expected to pay.
Important Do’s and Don’ts
*There are important things to keep in mind and the priority should be watching out for the stag. Don’t let him get so out of control that he will have regrets the next morning.
*Don’t let him drunk dial! If the stag isn’t carefully watched, he may call his bride with disastrous consequences. It’s wise if the bride doesn’t know the sad shape her groom is in.
*Get some evidence! Bring the video camera because you will want all the mayhem to be documented for future laughs. Get some candid photos.
